Shri Shirdhi Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam, Putraiyadi opening ceremony was on date 04.04.2012 by Guruji Dr. C.B. Satpathy, New Delhi and is located on the way to Kanyakumari. It is run under Shri Shirdi Sai Charitable Trust with a mission and vision to promote about Sai Baba preaching and works. People from different religion, poor or wealthy can come and visit the temple, can do Aarthis by their own. Daily Morning 6.30 am Temple opens and there after other all rituals are done by the poojari’s of the temple. In All pornami’s Thiru Arul Asaan Satyaguru T.K.S Ayya performs pornami yogasan and do sangalpa pooja in the temple. On this day of Pornami three times Thiruvalam is done and in the evening Kootu Thiruvalam is done.
Behind the temple there is a particular place for Guru known as Guru Satnam. In the Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam there is two temple of Vetri Vinayaka and Maha Sri Thathrayer, Pooja’s, Aarthis are conducted in these two temples daily and in special days . Baba Temple is surrounded by neem trees, devotees can rest under these trees which is good for health also. In a year four to five functions is celebrated in the temple in which devotees from far of places come for the Darshanam of Baba. Whosoever visit Kanyakumari surely visit the Baba’s Temple. Every month of third sunday all Baba devotees will read Baba’s Saiashtorthram.
There is a Book shop in the Temple where devotees can get all items related to Baba. On 17th day of every month siddha medicine camp is conducted and special prayer for skin diseases, ladies releases plables is done for curement from all diseases. As Thursday is considered as Baba’s Day all over India, some devotees keeps full day fasting and some do not eat non-veg. On Thursday special pooja is conducted all over India, in the same way in Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Aalayalam, Putraiyadi every Thursday, morning 11.45 and evening 6.15, Night 7.45 kootu prathakai which is participated by all Baba devotees. Twenty Four Hours deepem and dwarakamai goes on.
On every special days and Functions Annadanam is distributed by the devotees and from sai trust. On these special days, fuctions Abhishekam of Baba is done by milk, curd, White rice powder, Turmeric powder, Ghee ect. In Shri Shirdhi Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam, Devotees can write down their requests/ suffering in our temple request book and it will be submitted at Baba’s Thiruadai on all Aarthis and special pooja is done for them. For Car and Bus parking a vast space is available at Shri Shirdhi Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam premises.
